Dj Ray’s 80s Pop Hour

Good Evening, Lovers of good music!

Pop2

For today’s Mix,  : Dj Ray’s 80s Pop Hour I’ve featured music which is predominantly white folks music.  Now, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s sensibilities because I know how black folks feel about listening to music by white folks.

Though it’s white folk music, I find the Pop music of the 80’s had a timeless quality which even black folks can relate to, especially when the trax have been carefully curated  by myself,  guaranteed to be soulfully pleasing to a more mature and discerning audience. Many of the trax in the mix have actually been sampled by modern hip-hop artistes, so there’s that….  It’s also one of my favourite all-time mixes and  contains the following original classic trax:-
